LearnShops Successfully Completed 06/25/2011
The RBM&E LearnShop for the SMEDAN Management and Staff closed successfully last June 23, 2011 at 3:30 pm. This Learnshop consisted of two parts: June 16-17 for Management and June 20-23 for the SMEDAN Staff. The idea was to simulate the entire process of installing a fully functioning Results-based Monitoring and Evaluation (RBM&E) for SMEDAN. The entire management group attended the LearnShop while about ten percent of the SMEDAN movers and change-makers participated in the RBM&E for Staff.
During the closing ceremonies, Emeka Ile, Project Manager of the NIPC-WB MSME Project encouraged everyone to build the system. The M&E Technical Committee was also introduced by Gordon Otieno (VSO). Dr. Friday Okpara, Emeka and Dr. Canela distributed the certificate of achievement to all who completed the exercise.
